At Nature's Rootz we're dedicated to keeping our products vegan, natural, and free of harmful toxins and chemicals. Therefore, we do not use synthetic stabilizers or preservatives in any of our formulations. As a result, our hair and body products are sensitive to temperature.
During very warm weather, products may soften or even melt in transit as they sit in warm mail trucks and mailboxes. Unfortunately, melting is a natural reaction to heat and we have no control over these conditions during transit or delivery.
However - in order to ensure that your product arrives in the perfect whipped condition, we use:
1. Insulated Mailers with Gel Ice Packs & Bubble Wrap
2. Priority Mail for faster shipping
If by chance your product arrives melted, place it in the refrigerator. Do not worry, melting will not affect the quality of your whipped butter. The only thing that may change is the consistency. It will become more of a body balm, but will still provide the same benefits.
In order to make sure your product stays in its solid formation, we suggest tracking your package and being able to grab it when it arrives at your location - so it does not sit outside in the sun.
As a result of these steps, most of our butters shipped in warm weather arrive safely without melting.
